car radio unlock code for vaxhaul Astra

Dear all, i have purchased a used astra 1998 make, but the radio is
locked. could anyone be knowing how i can obtain the code?

 

3 options
Go back to the seller and demand the code or some money off
Vauxhall dealer or Car Audio specialist. Will cost.
Replace the radio with a cheapie from Halfords/Argos

 

When I had this difficulty the Vauxhall dealer supplied the code on
production of proof of ownership, the log book.

Around six years ago the charge was 10 pounds plus vat.

Even at todays prices this is probably still the lowest cost option
and would enable you to keep the vehicle original.
