Hi, Is the on board trip computer accurate? I ask as I have just done 2 tankfuls of brim testing, and got 33mpg from my own figures, but the trip computer is showing 39mpg, but I haven't reset the average mpg for a couple of thousand miles, could that explain the difference. I will be resetting the trip computer now and doing another brim test when I come to refill and let you know if there is still a discrepancy. I always use super unleaded as it feels more responsive using that, and I have to use super in my classic M/cycle to prevent the usual rubber hose problems.
