Hello all sorry for not writing in a while but i have a new query i
think iknow what it is but i want to be sure before i got to a gargae
    and get ripped off,

    Everytime i accellerate and/or change gear i get a god almighty thud/
bang and the whole car shakes. My exhaust has become alot more vocal
    since this started.

In reverse the car is fine except for the exhause still being loader
than usual. I beleave this to be either the engine mount or the
gearbox mount, this has been quite a suden thing however i had a
knocking in the gears when i went from 1st through to 3rd generally
but on occation 4th to 5th but very rare.

It only seems to happen when i accellerate or sometimes when i go over
bumps, also the whole car vibrates now and even when i start the car
its like the car's voice has just broken and it sounds very deep, when
i brake the car vibrates worse but when i accellerate the noise and
vibration stopp untill i take my foot off the accellerator or on the
the clutch unless i let the car catch up with the speed then the noise
becomes loader like something is vibrating aginst something elsethe it
    generally wont do it.

Please help as i do enjoy driving the car and dont like driving it
    with this noise.

Another way to decribe what it feels like and sounds like is when you
are in 1st gear and the car is about to stall....(not that we do such
things!) and you dont have the clutch engaged and you put your foot
on the accellerator and the whole car jumps forward with a bang it
sounds like that!!!!!!! and feels like that also.

cheers and any honest replies would be greatly recieved

Only a suggestion but it may well be engine mounts needing replaced.
Movement of the engine during drive take up could account for the noise,
lack of smoothness, and the noisier exhaust. I would get it checked out
    fairly quickly.

    urm......

first though is check the engine mounts
though it also indicates something wrong wth the timing
not alsways at low revs is it?
might be icv if it is...slow pickup.
    spark plug?
    injector?
