Broken Crankshaft

    I have a 2001, 2.2l Bertone Astra convertible, Z22 engine. The RAC have done a diagnostic and think that the crankshaft has snapped! This happened with no warning, and has had yearly oil and filter changes. Secondhand engine bought with 60,000 miles, and I have done around 10,000 more. Has anyone had similar problems, or come up against similar? I am very surprised that this has happened!
