BP Ultimate Diesel

The guy working there wasn't too sure. Obviously there's a point where
you have to mix the deisels together. The station has regular diesel
and Ultimate Diesel, which seems to have the same effect as RedEx. Do
I run my tank down to nearly-empty before starting to use Ultimate?
Anyone with any experience of using UD?
 
It's only like normal and high octane unleaded. Mixing them won't
matter.

I've tried it in my 1.7CDTi Astra. It doesn't make any differnce to how the
car runs or the mpg it returns. On the other hand I've heard people say it
does make a difference. Use the cheap stuff I say :o)
