bonnet cable snapped

I have a P reg Corsa 17 LS D

The bonnet release cable has snapped and I would like to know if there is a
way to get it open.

You can reach up from underneath at the front and get to the catch - a
struggle but can be done. Has it snapped or has the handle come off?

Thanks Mark, do you mean underneath the bonnet on underneath the car? I
have tried both and it really seems a struggle. Would it be easier to get
to if I take the bumper off?

From under the car - all you are looking to do is slide the lever where the
bonnet cable fastens to sideways simulating the cable being pulled. Not
sure you will get the bumper off with the bonnet down.
Can you see the catch through the grill?
