    Hi,

I have had my Corsa C SXI for 6 months it is black pearlescent what polish
should I use to cover some light scratches. I looked at Colour Magic but it
says it can be used on standard and metallic but not pearlescent ??

I dont fancy removed the lacquer on the paint which I am sure this would do
any ideas what is best ??

    Cheers

3M Finesse is the best on the market bar none (and I've used most of 'em!).
A bit expensive but definitely worth it (approx £17 a litre bottle I
believe). Available at good motor factors only. It's a fine polish NOT a wax
so after 'finessing' it's advised to give it a good wax for protection but
    not essential.

Don't forget that the 'Karate Kid' wax on wax off philosphy is crap... when
using Finesse (or wax for that matter) work in small 1ft square patches at a
time, don't spread everywhere then try to wipe off. Good old fashioned elbow
grease is the order of the day!

    Cheers, cr@zyman.

The lacquer on pearl paint is thesame as they use on metalics it is only the
base coat which is slightly different so any decent wax is o k to use

    Hope this helps
