    Hia again,
sorry, I forgot to ask, there seems to be a special security
nut on each wheel, but only a standard wheel spanner in the spare kit. Do I
need to get a suitable spanner from vaxhaul? If I get a puncutre an stuffed.

    What should I expect MPG? (2.0T 200 BHP) I am guessing 25-30

    Any help appreciated

    Cheers

If I were you I would thoroughly search every nook and cranny for it,
because if you have a puncture you will be stuffed without it as you cannot
get the wheel off. Check your owners book to see where all the storage areas
are. You might have an under seat storage tray like my zafira. Maybe even a
compartment at the rear of the boot area in the floor (again, like my zaf)
as the zaf is based on an astra. Also contact the previous owner. In the
meantime I suggest you invest in a cheap £5 type compressor, and maybe a can
of tyre sealant as well, just in case.

If they are the original standard Vauxhall fit, your friendly local
dealer or the dealer that supplied the car as new, should be able to
find the code number from their records. You can then get a replacment
key. If the car is under Network Q, then one of the requirements of that
(according to the dealer I bought my Signum from) is that you are
supplied with the correct key. Look in all the cubby holes, in the boot
and in the bag that has the jack, wheel brace etc. Check that the jack
etc. are there by the way. You don't want to discover they are missing
one dark wet night on the M6. BTDTGT
Failing that, most tyre places can get them off but can not gaurentee
that they might damage a wheel.

Hia Dave, thanks for the info. but these do not have keys, they look like
large "Torx" bolds. I will pop around my local dealer this week. PS The
    other 4 are normal bolts.

That sounds like the standard Vauxhall locking wheel studs. The adapter to
get them off can be refered to as a key, thats probably what Dave means. The
supplying dealer should be able to sort you out.

Correct. That's exactly what I mean and exactly what the suppling dealer
    called the adapter.

Many thanks lads, I contacted the dealer who supplied the car, and he was
most appologetic and said they had the "kit" containing the key and the four
origional bolts. Just having a minor annoyance with the tail wash
"dribbling" then stoping. tried poking it with a fine needlle, but its still
gives a little spurt, then nothing. What a pain!

My rear and front washers stopped at the same time. Have you checked the
pipe leading to the back washer?
I had a problem with the pipe breaking and squiritng the water inside the
rear door. Check to see if any water is coming out of any the boot drain
holes (when we finally get some dry weather that is).

Its worth your while to take the locking studs out, apply a little grease to
the threads, replace and then just nip them up (Don't over tighten) They
have a habit of getting stuck and the removal adapter fails (wrings off)
when trying to remove them. This is case especially if a lazy mechanic/tyre
fitter has put them on with air gun.

I have contacted my local Vauxall dealer who is going to
look at it under warranty. They think there may be a kink in the pipe in the
roof lining. They are also going to change my rear light cluster, as it
    keeps on getting condensation inside.

    cheers

Definitely worth joining this web site. Nice blokes and a mine of
    information on all Astras.
