Astra mk4 hatch funny knock noise

Hi,

On me Astra at slow speeds i.e 5 mph I hear occasionally a knocking noise
which goes once I accelerate. Its difficult sometimes to make it do it on
purpose and it would seem once the car has warmed up its ok. Sounds like its
on the drivers side but cant be sure.

Anyone else had this?

Have you checked the condition of your exhaust and mountings ?

Have you checked that the bracket that holds the front pipe hasn't broken or
come loose. These are a big MOT failure.

Hmm well the car is under Network Q warranty although ive taken it back that
many times to the vauxhall garage for different things ive lost count.

Ive noticed it only does it from cold, seems to go away after 5 minutes.

Yeah could be thats what it sounds like. Im takin it to the garage tomorrow
so they can break it some more
