Hi my 2012 astra 2.0 cdti 160 has lost power maybe 2 or 3 times a year in the 5 years ive owned it It will rev up to around 4000 rev but will take a while to do it and car struggles to get to 30 mph once ive turned the engine off and back on it drives ok no light or codes have ever come up and it hasnt bothered me too much as it was very intermittent Anyway a couple of days ago i had a p0402-51 egr flow excessive i cleaned the egr and the egr pipe out but in the end had to fit a brand new egr valve but now the power loss happened twice within 10 minutes of fitting then was ok until the next day and has done it once or twice a day now with no fault codes anyone have an idea what could be causing it
