We have a 2012 Astra J SRI estate 1700 Diesel 6 speed and the gearbox goes really stiff, not going into gear but even just moving the stick from left to right in neutral would be stiff along with entering every gear. This is an intermittent fault and may last for 5 minutes and then rectifies itself but does seem to be getting more often now. Can anyone please give us some advice on what needs do be checked or done?
