    Hi.
Is there any way to bypass or turn off the ignition key immobiliser on a
    (N)Vauxhall astra 1.4ls.
I just broke my spare key now I only have one, Vauxhall are asking around
    £100 for a replacement key.
    thanks

if you still have the key and the chip is intact. Get a new key cut (most of
the high street shops can do this) or a dealer and transfer the key chip to
the new key. It should then work with out re programing

    Hi
I lost the chip, I dropped the key (the one with the light on it) and it
just flew into pieces, everything came out, battery/chip/electric contacts
and the press button and spring. all I managed to find was the battery and
    the push-button.
    cheers
