The timing belt on my C14NZ type engine is due for replacement.
This is the single cam carburettor engine.

I am planning to do the job myself and have Haynes book for guidance.
I've bought the kit plus new crankshaft bolt and thermostat with seals for
    thermostat and water pump.

Any hints or potential pitfalls on doing the job would be appreciated.

Not Really, This is about as easy a job as you will find. You will have
finished the job and be wondering what you have missed as it will all happen
so quickly. If its not been done for a while a squirt of lusol or similar on
the water pump bolts every day for a week before starting the job will make
    it even easier.

    Cheers
