    Dear group,

I am going to be looking at a 2001/51 astra coupe (2.0 turbo) at the
    weekend.

When I turn up I don't want to appear like a normal tyre kicker, whose
    knowledge goes no further

than checking the oil has no white spots in it etc.

Is there anything else that I need to be made aware of.

The car has done 55000 miles, and I believe it has been maintained by the
fleet garage, and not by vauxhall.

Additionally this is the 1st turbo I will be getting, is there anything I
need to be made aware of here.

Andy advice would be more than gladly received

    Cheers

Beware that the frameless doors can (and will freeze) to the car body in
the winter! Also, those lovely shaped long doors are a pain to get out of in
a tight parking space. And watch out for dodgy alarms, they had a habit of
failing. Ours was replaced under warranty. But as an overall package, nice
    cars, and a bit different.
