Astra blower can't supply cold air

Hi,

My '97 Astra heater control can't turn the heating off , ( I can get from
'warm' to 'hot' - but can't get just cold air ) . is this something I can
tweak myself or do I have to take it in to be sorted ?

depends how handy you are with cars. The valves stuck, the cables stuck /
broken
what do you mean by tweak?
