I need to change the oil on my 02 Astra 1.8 SRi and I haven't had to do
it on this car before: dealer until now.

Could someone confirm that I'm correct in thinking:

    - the sump plug is on the flat underside of the sump at the front right
    corner
    - I need a T45 torx bit to remove the sump plug
    - the sealing ring is a rubber ring rather than a copper washer
    - the plug should be re-tightened to 14Nm
    - the filter is a paper cartridge rather than a cartridge in a metal
    container.

Just trying to make sure I don't get half way through the job and then
find I've got a long walk to get the correct bits!

    TIA

    Yes
    Yes

Can't remember the torque for the bolt but is isn't a lot.
When you undo the oil filter housing top make sure the complete thing
doesn't turn cos it will snap the alloy housing lugs off.
