Airbag lamps

    Hi!

    What is the most likely faults when the airbag warning lamp is alight?

    Any suggestions?
    Expensive??

    Got a Vectra 1999 CD

    Poor connections to the seat belt pretensioners under the seats.
    Don't mess with it yourself - connections need tightening and codes need
    clearing

    if it stays on for more than a day or so then start to worry.
    quite often the fault sensors on the system are the first to get shirty if
    say a spike is put down the power system by something
    i'e' a connect/reconnect to a fag lighter socket.
    or if an appliance has been has been fitted/refitted/changed (i'e'
    cd/cassette radio change)
    can even be caused by the battery going below 12volts

    it should clear itself
    if it does not, then time for a quick visit to a tech2 reader.
