Hi, I am curious to know if there is a repair kit for the gear linkage that has popped off the plastic joint assembly at the gear stick end? I managed to re- connect the joint back onto the gear stick spigot, but it will not stay in position because the bush inside the plastic joint has deformed to the point that it no longer 'pops' back over the spigot shoulder. In a perfect world this would be a great quick and cheap solution to the alternative of buying and fitting an expensive double cable assembly from the gearbox, through the firewall and back to the gear lever.
