It may be of interest to the group, that my local agent says this is
unavailable on my 02 Zafira Elegance - only available as a factory fitted
    extra when new.

They were , though, able to hook me up to cruise control as the wiring was
pre installed anyway, [but the extra facility not ordered by the original
buyer], for the cost of a new steering wheel stalk + the cost of fitting =
peanuts compared to Vauxhall's price for cruise as an extra when new !!! [
I've had cruise for over 15 years and use it at some time on every journey]

The Automatic Zafira 1.8 seems to return about 30 mpg for the mixture of
    journeys I do.

Like an Automatic Corsa we had before, first gear "whistles" and is most
noticeable at change of gear to 2nd, and I have assumed it is par for the
    course on this gearbox.

  3. I assume you mean how much cruise? = £105 fitted by Vauxhall agent, includes
part £26.75. Labour £63 ( they do have to remove steering wheel /airbag to
change stalk) VVVAAATTT£15.71 = total £105.46. As an extra, new, Vauxhall
seem to want £400. I assume the wiring is standard & includes this "loop".
    May only work for "Elegance"
