After market Head Unit

Has any one fitted an aftermarket head unit in a 2015 or later vivaro.Got a Connects 2 kit etc.Kenwood DMX7017DABS.
Problem I'm having is,the van ignition live etc.is on a female connector, and the connect 2 kit has also got female end.
Confused.
