    Hello people

My 3 year old Zafira will be going this week.

If you are looking to buy an 03 1.6 club, this is not the car for
    you........

Rust bubble appearing on bottom of drivers door.

Repair work to nearside sill and door is quite apparent. ( I put a big dent
in it with a BIG wooden post)

The nearside rear quarterlight window leaks like anything.

The engine has a runs lumpy when hardly any revs. common fault?

So if you find yourself looking at a Dark blue Zafira Club AD 03 A** then
give it a good look over.

I don't like the idea of someone buying this of a not tooo honest dealer
    somewhere.

I would have thought the rust bubble and the damage are easily dealt
with and there would be no concerns if repaired properly. It soulds as
if it wasn't reapired properly first time though. Did you send it
somewhere decent or get a cheap job? The rust could be under warranty
    but more likely external damage.

The bad running is probably easily cureable. Did you get a dealer to
    look at it under warranty?

The rear quarter window is an odd one but easily cureable. The worst
case scenario is a properly bonded replacemnt glass.

All in all, easy things for a reputable dealer to do.

The rust is on the drivers side. It doesnt look like there is any other
damage. The damage was on the nearside. It went to a recommended repair
    shop.
The dealer is a main vauxhall dealer and has looked after it since new.
asked about it 2 or 3 times. mentioned it was a low revs problem. mechanic
test drove at high revs. ( i watched him nip up the road)
So granted.... all reasonably ok to put right, But if you are not in the
    know........

Im new to Zafiras......so can you tell me how to get the spare wheel off....

I had a quick look but nothing was obvious - is there something that I need
to release inside the car...cos i havent found it yet.....
mind you i havent looked too hard...but thought seeing as I had found this
page by accident I would ask the experts.

    Cheers

    No not yet.......

Actually ive found it......it looks quite solid tho......a bolt into the
boot and a metal clasp clamping the thing shut...is this the norm or is this
    a new improved thingy.

    Cheers

    Dave :)
