95 Cavalier 2.0 16v ecotec no power to fuel pump

Hi all,

I've just got myself a 95 Cavalier GLS 2.0 16v ecotec for a project. The boy I got it from has clearly spent a bit of time and money as had changed timing belt and water pump, head gasket, alternator... and some others.

He said it had cut out and the power was going to but not through the fuel pump relay so I bought another and still nothing.

I've ran a direct power feed to the fuel pump and it works and also if pour fuel down the throttle body it does briefly fire so there's a spark.

Also the engine management light is flashing away any one any ideas?
