2ltr DTI problems with cold start any ideas !!!!!!!

Hi all i am having problems getting my van to start in the cold. The
preheat light does not come on now. I have checked the fuses and they
are all ok. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Cold start relay, perhaps.
