Hello, My Insignia is well maintained by my local garage and has now covered around 100k miles. I have just asked my local garage to replace with new OEM parts the DMF. Clutch complete, Timing chain and tensioner as they all need to come off o be repaired/replaced, so I have been informed.

So, my thinking is, because of the mileage (100k) and "Better the ca r you know" I's a good idea to replace them all. My local garage has priced the job including OEM parts, labour, sundries and VAT at £3715 50. Apparently the labour time involved is 16 hours. Any opinions please? Thanks in advance.
