    Hi all
I have a 2005 Corsa with the optional factory fit alarm. Just recently when
I get in the car and go to start the engine as I am turning the ignition key
the alarm is sounding for a second or so. As soon as the car has started,
maybe sooner the alarm stops. Anyone got any suggestions as to the problem?
    Thanks
    Ian

It might be the alarm siren giving up - have you had the fault codes read?

Sounds to me like a power sounder failure. Get the codes read and talk
to your local dealer initially. Let them quote and work from there.

PS I have been known to remove the siren and ignore it!

No fault codes read yet. It was okay this morning but I don't want to get
the neighbours upset if it starts doing it again. I will try and get the
    codes read sometime soon.
Thanks for the info so far.

I will bear this in mind if the error codes point to this.
    Thanks
