    Hi folks;

Like the title syas, is there any way of disabling the flippin annoying
buzzer thingy that sounds every time I open the driver's door in
wifey's Zafira, with the keys still in the ignition?

    TIA

I find the best way to stop it buzzing is to remove the keys from the
    ignition!

I can't think of many times where I want to turn off the engine and get
out of the car but leave the keys in the ignition.

Fair point Alan, it was just particularly annoying on holiday, with the
car parked at the top of the beach with the doors open & me still in
the driving seat. Just seems a pointless warning buzzer IMHO - after
all I'll need the key in my hand to lock the car anyway, so what's the
    point :-/ ( rhetorical question).

Fair point Alan, it was just particularly annoying on holiday, with the
A rear seat passenger can lock a zaf by pressing the locking button on the
    drivers door, then getting out.

This locks the door but doesnt det the alarm, a usefull tip if your zaf is
    having alarm problems.

Thanks Mike, although the Zafira alarm is pretty well behaved it does
have the occasional funny turn so I might well start doing this if it
    plays up again.

It took me 3 hours to vacuum most of the sand out of the car after the
holiday; you don't realise how many nooks and crannys there are in a
Zaf unitl you need to thoroughly clean the interior ;-)
