    Hello,

    I have a 2litre turbo astra coupe.

The computer tells me "coolant level"........which is very nice of it!!

every time I check it the coolant seems perfectly adequate, both when the
engie is cold, and when it has been

    run for 30 minutes

Do these sensors go faulty, if so is it inexpensive and easy to replace.

Vauxhalls have just quoted me £47 to put it onto a computer

Any advice would be gladly appreciated

my omega does the same intermittently usually after a hump tye rise and fall
bump. it's always been checked and the level is always ok with no problems.
Check out the cavweb forum for a how to for replacing it yourself .Or just
live with it. They do seem to be a problem area though.
