Astra noisy Power steering

    Hi

    Just an update from a past post I made asking about noisy power steering on
    a year old Astra.

    It went back to the dealer, who had the car on a ramp for 6 hours of work
    replacing the steering rack, or that is what they told me.

    Anyway, happy to report all the whining and whirring has gone completely,
    although the steering does feel a bit heavier than before, so maybe they
    just turned off the power steering completely or forgot to plug it back in!!
